St Joseph’s School, Kingston, Rhenock is a Charitable Missionary Institution, belonging to Diocese of Darjeeling-Sikkim. It has always stressed upon holistic education which ensures that
every student is actively engaged in a rigorous learning experience while developing social and personal life skills. This school is the dream mission of Rev. Fr. Rene Singh who initiated the mission to provide the quality education to the children of this region. I am proud to be a part of this establishment. We are serving here true to our potential to transform the young minds into a potential source of knowledge and wisdom. We are blessed with a dedicated team of teachers and conscious cooperative parents which can convert every creative and inquisitive young mind into a fountain of knowledge of wisdom. Education is the basis of all progress. This is the reason why every single missionary forayed into education first. The entire purpose of our education is not to restrict education to imparting bookish knowledge alone but inculcate humanitarian values as well. We strive to give every student the opportunity to express him/herself through a carefully planned curriculum. We strike a balance between total human formation and an internationally acceptable education. St. Joseph’s School, Rhenock had a humble beginning. Kudos to parents, guardians and local significant persons who rendered their undeterred support and unconditional help at the genesis of its establishment. I salute their dedication with humility and appreciate and acknowledge their unconditional goodwill toward the school and society. Since then, the School has constant improvement in infrastructure, educational process, teaching technology and learning process.
We believe in DISCIPLINE. Excellence is our heritage. Respect for environment and awareness about the global issues are the objectives of the School for which Green School Award – 2018 was conferred to the school by the State Government. I believe that St. Joseph’s School, Rhenock offers quality education which can convert every creative  inquisitive young mind into a fountain of knowledge and wisdom nurtured by love and service.
